11-04-08 :: Lightbringers featured on Lagwar.com!

The Lightbringers have been featured on the Guild Spotlight section of Lagwar.com's podcast this week! The full article on Lagwar can be found here.

The spotlight features an extensive written interview with guild leader Drakion and all the officers, as well as a short audio monolog performed by a verteran MMO voiceover actor. The monolog recaps the storyline from Module 4, The Reaver's Bane, so for any new players to the game, it will set the stage for the continuing storyline in Module 8, which was just released as the article was posted.

08-25-08 :: Guild Merger with Night Wolves!

I'm proud to announce that the Nightwolves will be merging into our guild! Starting on Monday the 25th, expect to see some new faces in the guild. The Nightwolves are all great players, who share the same mindset as our guild, and should make a great addition to our ranks, bringing our numbers up to 15-25 active members!

Have no fear, we will remain the same Lightbringers you know and love, and will maintain our guild name. We will continue to be the Lightbringers that are listed on the Founder's Statue in the harbor.

So please welcome our new members, and show them what it means to be a Lightbringers! As the merger completes, expect to see even more faces as we step up recruitment.

04-09-07 :: Now Recruiting

The Lightbringers are currently openly recruiting in an effort to expand our member base. We are a founding guild, having been here since launch, and can be found listed on the Harbor Statue for founding guilds. We are a fairly laid-back guild, looking to have fun more than anything else. We openly share items, information, and good times. Everyone in our guild is treated like family, and we encourage all members to have their friends and family invited into the guild. Our guild consists of mostly mature-minded players, aged 20 and up, and we have both East Coast and West Coast players. We enjoy exploring new content, and new raids, and grouping and working together, and not cheesing content.

In addition to expanding the guild membership, we are also looking to expand our leadership. So if you are a mature-minded player interested in joining an active guild with many benefits ranging from free items to raid parties to leadership opportunities, or if you are looking for the opportunity to help a guild regrow and expand, look no farther! 02-28-07 :: One Year Aniversery!

Well, DDO has been out for a year now, and that's quite an achievement. But that's not the big news. The big news is that it is the Lightbringers One year Aniversery as well!

Drakion and Kilden both wish to thank all of the guilds membership, both past and present, for being part of such an enjoyable year. We hope that it will continue for another year.

So join us over the weekend in the never ending quest for XP and loot, because with +50% XP and +1 to the chest levels, it is going to be a good weekend. And do not forget to join us for a Raid on the Twilight Forge on the hardest difficultly we have open as well as another swat at Titan. Remember to sign up on the forums for the raid!

01-27-07 :: Lightbringers Expand to Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

With the lauch of Vanguard's head start event for pre-orders, Lightbringers has staked it's claim on the Shedrith server. So if you plan on playing Vanguard, look us up. Bold is currently guild leader, and Flip is the recruitment officer, with Discis and Morose rounding out the current officers. Check out the Lightbringers' Vanguard forums and our guild listing on Vanguard Spheres. Our DDO Chapter is still going strong as well so we hope to see you all on both games!

12-30-06 :: End of Year Titan Raid

The Lightbringers decided to end the year on a bang and take their very first shot at the Titan Raid. Going in blind, with no previous knowledge, they spent 6 hours working their way through the Forge and culminating with an epic battle with the Titan that lasted well over 30 minutes. Alas, the Titan prevailed, but a good time was had by all, and next time, the Titan will not be so lucky!

A well earn thanks and congrats goes out to all that attended. And an extra special congrats goes out to Red squad, who came out of nowhere and solved the underwanter puzzle, and saved the downed 3 member blue team that found the Ancient Golems by accident!

09-16-06 :: The Dragon Dies Again!

Another Dragon run, another dead dragon. It was another epic battle, where we were almost defeated, but prevailed in the end. Dragon loot went to Goldmoon, who got the +6 Wisdom helm, and the Flamestrike guantlets were sold for plat for the clerics.

09-02-06 :: The Lightbringers take down the Post-Patch Dragon!

After a few short tries against the modified Dragon, the Lightbringers has taken down the dragon yet again, and without bugging it. In an Epic battle where almost all was lost, we regroup and killed the dragon just as an Earth Elemental spawned, wiping all but 3 of our party, without any way to ressurct. Thankfully, the Docent and Flamestrick Gaunlts dropped, so nobody missed out. The items were sold for plat to hand out to the clerics.

07-15-06 :: The Lightbringers take down the Dragon!

After about four pratice runs, the Lightbringers were finally able to put their stratagy into action and take down Velah the Dragon! Great Job everyone that was a part of this raid as well as all the raids leading up to our sucess. Dragon Loot went to Kilden with the Kundark Warding Bracers and Ziron with the Crimson Necklace! Nice Job Everyone. As always, the next run on the dragon will be Saturday. We will start grouping up around 2 PM ET so that we can start around 3 PM ET. As ussual, this raid is first come first serve. Hope to see you there!

07-06-06 :: Leadership Change

Due to Thead's inactivity, in-game leaderhip of the guild has been official transferred to Drakion! Leadership is now shared between Drakion and Kilden. Officers now include: Flip, Ashraela, Discis, Felldon, Bold, Sammal, and Thafarex. Grats to all the new officers.

06-05-06 :: Dragon Raid Screenshots and Updates

The Dragon may have turned us into BBQ in short order, but a very successful first run on VON5 was complete and an great time was had by all. Next run on the 10th VON5 is gonna be smooth as butter and we will be snacking on some BBQ Dragonwings! Also the screenshots in the media section and the sidebar have been updated with some more recent pics.
